All the academic programmes offered in the Michael and Cecilia Foundation College of Education (MCFCOE) have been given full accreditation by the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE). The College is fully prepared to admit students into additional programmes approved for her by the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE).


The duration for obtaining NCE is a minimum of three academic sessions (3 years) of two semesters each. (A semester must not be less than 15 weeks of teaching and a total of 2 weeks for registration and examination, making a total of 17 weeks) and a  maximum of five academic session (5 years). The academic programmes are for the NCE are listed below;

The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), has approved for MCFCOE the authority to run the PDE programme for HND, graduates of Polytechnics and University graduate with Bachelor, Masters and Doctorate degrees to professionalize as teachers. It is an intensive but interesting academic programme that is concluded within twelve (12) calendar months.
